The plants of the Artemisia genus, so typical of our region, were used to flavour beer in ancient times. We are now bringing this beverage back to its origins, alongside another Mediterranean product, carob, a defining feature of this blend, in an ode to our ancestral culture. Artemisia and carob come together to recreate an age-old and unknown pleasure for the palate: rupestrine beer.
Bruna is the Great Beer for beer lovers. It opens with the sweetness of carob on the nose, followed by an additional hint of vermouth, which comes from the wormwood. The result is a sweet and spicy mouth attack, with a powerful presence of burnt sugar that evolves into baked apple, candy apple and strawberry juice. This is the ideal accompaniment for desserts and, surprisingly enough, for cheeses. The perfect harmony of bitterness and sweetness make this a great beer to share, discuss and pair with a post-meal snack.
